About the Opportunity Sojitz Gregory are currently seeking experienced mine site HD Fitters to join our team based at Gregory Mine. Reporting to a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results while ensuring the safe maintenance and operation of mobile plant and equipment. The key responsibilities will be to: Undertake the service, repair and maintenance of mobile mining. equipment in accordance with Sojitz servicing and maintenance procedures. Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high regard. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems. Conduct inspections to maximise equipment utilisation. Identify hazards and response to safety issues. Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. About you As the successful candidate, you will be a team player who prioritises safety always. While understanding your role and how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives, you will prioritise tasks and maintain compliance with site policies and procedures at all times. The above will be achieved and supported by: Demonstrated experience in mine site repair and maintenance of Haul Trucks – CAT 789 and MT4400. Excavators – CAT 6060 and Komatsu PC3000. Dozers and Auxiliary Equipment. Exposure to Draglines will be highly regarded. Australian recognised Trade qualification – Heavy Diesel Fitter. Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Queensland Generic Induction (Standard 11). Current Drivers Licence. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work to competing deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
