Description Our Site Manager is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Site, whilst maintaining a strategic view, ensuring that we have the right systems, people & capabilities in place to support our operations & logistics functions. The role involves ensuring the safe operation of our facilities through compliance with all statutory, legislative and business requirements & to take personal responsibility for the journey towards zero harm in the production areas of our sites, driving improvement and engaging people. The Site Manager plays a critical role as the position forms part of the Site Steering Team, creating & championing a variety of continuous improvement initiatives to support the growth & development of the site. Alongside the Site and People & Capability team, creating and delivering our bench strengthen plans to ensure a future pipeline of capability all levels within and outside the site. To ensure that every member of our operations team is Invested and acting with Integrity, providing confidence to our customers and consumers. Skills And Experiences Work experience & skills Essential experience Experience of manufacturing and production processes in a senior management position. Experience of implementing change and driving improvement through teams. Experience developing teams and delivering capabilities for change. Prior experience of at least 5 years working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within FMCG in a senior management position. Strong IT systems knowledge including WMS and TMS Desirable Experience Knowledge of LEAN / CI / six sigma / TPM tools and processes. Experience gained during the automation of manual processes. Experience with short shelf life produce, food & drink or FMCG. Site management or deputy, used to Regulatory and Union interaction. Why Join One Harvest?
