Position: Systems Engineer Location: Osborne Park, Perth Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 Super Job Type: Permanent, full-time Opportunity Overview: We’re looking for a Systems Engineer with solid, hands-on experience in Microsoft modern workplace solutions. The ideal candidate will have project-based implementation experience across Microsoft 365 and Intune, particularly in building and rolling out these environments from the ground up. Perks: Hybrid working options (2–3 days WFH) Work with enterprise customers using modern tools and platforms Autonomous role within a collaborative, supportive team Career development and upskilling opportunities Key Responsibilities: Implement Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive Deploy and manage Intune environments — including tenancy setup, templates, security configuration, testing, and rolling out devices Provide systems administration across internal infrastructure Configure and manage cloud security settings (access controls, security policies, DLP) Set up and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD, including identity synchronisation Use Intune for device and app management to streamline end-user experiences Write and run basic SQL scripts to support systems and databases Assist with implementing conditional access policies and other security measures Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across M365 and Azure environments Role Requirements: Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Setting up Intune from scratch — tenancy configuration, templates, compliance policies, and security settings Building, testing, and deploying Autopilot profiles Managing device enrolments, app packaging, and rollout strategies Running UAT/testing cycles with users and internal stakeholders Troubleshooting and optimising post-deployment configurations for performance and security Knowledge of cloud security practices like DLP and access control Experience writing and using SQL scripts PowerShell scripting skills are a bonus, but not essential Additional areas you’ll be working on in this role: Veeam and other back-up solutions Palo Alto Firewalls ISO 27001 and Essential 8 framework Aruba Central and Cloud managed switching Networking and Cybersecurity Security patching and maintenance Disaster Recovery in cloud and on-premises environments Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, Hyper-V and Networking We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
