We are seeking a driven high performing individual to join the Institutional Client and Product Solutions (ICPS) team in Sydney as an Associate, to focus on capital raising and client servicing for Australia and New Zealand based investors. Primary responsibilities for this role include providing support to the Head of ICPS Australia for all aspects of the sales and client servicing process in Australia and New Zealand across Apollo’s full range of private equity, credit, infrastructure, and real estate products. Over time, the expectation is that the successful candidate will take on significant direct client coverage responsibility themselves. Primary Responsibilities Business Development/Capital Raising Support the Australia ICPS team in planning and organizing various investor marketing outreach activities including roadshows, due diligence sessions, and certain other events Ensure the CRM database is up to date for the relevant accounts for all products Client meetings and calls: Assist with roadshows in Australia and NZ, setting up meetings, arranging materials etc.; take clear and organized notes, clearly summarizing all follow ups, ownership, and deadlines Follow ups and Diligence Process: Coordinate and manage any follow up items on a timely basis, including liaising with product team on any diligence questions Supporting our Apollo Capital Solutions (ACS) business that is focused on the distribution of direct investments Ongoing client servicing Investor queries: Serve as the conduit between various Apollo CPS product teams and investors to ensure investor queries on investments, performance, finance, tax etc. are addressed in a timely and thoughtful manner Existing relationship management: maintaining up-to-date primary contacts of existing relationships in every role transition, coverage change, departure etc. Qualifications & Experience 4 years of prior experience in a sales role at an alternative asset management firm or investment bank; knowledge of private markets required (private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and/or private equity); Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results Ability to operate as a team player – energetic, enthusiastic and personable High quality written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Strong communicator; personable, organized, and proactive with a positive attitude Strong interpersonal skills to support communication with external counterparties Excels in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
