Responsibilities In this role, you will review and analyze customer contract change requests and redlines. You will then work closely with various internal functional stakeholders such as Deal desk, Legal, GBP, HQAPP, Sales leadership, and others to come up with ideas and alternatives to resolve customer requests and provide the Sales team with extensive input and guidance to obtain required approvals to drive deals to completion. The role is supporting JAPAC in a multi-cultural environment with different assigned tasks. The work is fast-paced and seasonal, aligning with NetSuite’s monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal cycles. This role supports Sales and does not directly interact with customers. What You'll Do Work with internal customers to fulfill sales master agreements, sales orders, service agreements, renewals, and IT assessments. Proactively deliver accurate, high-quality guidance and direction to the Sales team with respect to the best structure of complex non-standard deals, deal strategy, the company’s internal approval and deal processes, and the rationale behind the company’s practices, policies, and contract terms. Guide discussions with Sales explaining Oracle’s contracting structure and terms and conditions and the rationale for what Oracle is and is not able to accept in a contract negotiation. Artfully and gently pushback on requested changes while still moving the deal to completion. Quick to respond to requests and keep internal customers informed of status and expected completion. Cultivate strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand their evolving needs, preferences, and challenges. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and drive satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned Sales teams, diagnosing and resolving escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Support approvals of deal reviews and structuring deals for optimum business and customer outcome acting as JAPAC Tier 1 approver Collaborate and support other Commercial Deal Strategy Specialist (Tier 1) colleagues across the world. Eagerness to take on something new and delve into the complexities of the assignment. Support colleagues in Revenue Operations and take on assignments outside your assigned work. Learn from others and share new trends or changes in product or policy with colleagues. What You'll Have 5 to 8 years of experience in contract analysis to include approval, structuring, drafting of complex contracts. Previous experience in enterprise software industry/SaaS and/or NetSuite is highly desirable. Proven experience in working with leadership, legal, deal management and sales, among others. Superior communication skills, attention to detail with solid ability to effectively delegate is critical for success. Willingness to work extended hours during busy monthly, quarterly, and yearly close times. Candidate must resides in Sydney or Singapore, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
