For more information about us, please take a look out our website: www.timbertruss.com.au About the Role We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to supervise the operations of the Transport Department to ensure the efficient coordination and allocation of deliveries. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday and is based at our office in Brendale. Key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to): Coordinate deliveries to maximise efficiencies. Liaise with truck drivers in relation to delivery activities and issues they may have onsite. Organise and maintain truck and trailer maintenance and servicing. Allocate and schedule drivers’ tasks for the day. Efficient utilisation of contractors. Assist clients in resolving on-site issues regarding deliveries concerns. Training and development for transport and yard staff. Confirm that all deliveries for the next day’s transport are complete by liaising with yard and production personnel. Supervising truck driver's, yard loaders and dispatch coordinator. Ensure an efficient and accurate communication flow for company staff and clients. About You Previous experience in the transport industry (preferred but not essential) Ability to coordinate activities in a busy interruptive environment Demonstrated leadership ability Strong organisational skills.
