Join our client as a Housing Support Practitioner, providing vital support to veterans facing homelessness or at risk of it. You'll deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support to help veterans and their families access stable, safe housing. Using a strengths-based approach, you’ll guide clients through housing options, case management, and tenancy sustainment strategies. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive homelessness support to veterans and their families. Coordinate personalized housing plans, engaging clients in goal setting. Case manage 15-20 clients, helping with housing applications and securing housing options. Advocate for veterans to access community and specialist services. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. Experience in social work, housing, or homelessness services is desirable. Strong knowledge of Queensland tenancy legislation and homelessness frameworks. Familiarity with veteran and ADF community needs. Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with diverse teams.
