Job Description We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Demis Chef to join our large kitchen team and provide efficient, friendly and professional food to all of our premium lounge guests. Our food offerings include al la carte & buffet across our Lounge environments at the domestic and also the international Qantas Lounges. Working closely with our Executive Chef, Sous Chef and large kitchen team, you will excite our guests with culinary flair and enthusiasm and demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest quality of food. Trade qualification in Cookery and experience in a similar role is essential Natural leadership style to support, encourage and mentor others Positive, empathetic and driven by team engagement Detail-focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure Experience & knowledge of mass production and large volumes of food Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods and techniques Time management skills with the ability to multitask Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, weekends and public holidays
