This role offers the opportunity to influence NSW strategy, streamline operations, and build a strong commercial future for the region. About the opportunity This role is responsible for leading the NSW operations across sales, operations, finance, and Operational Health and Safety. You will have direct oversight of around 16 employees, including managers in each department, with a strong emphasis on hands-on leadership, business performance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will: Coach, mentor and develop direct reports Implement strategies to meet revenue, profitability and margin targets Lead OH&S audits, compliance, and stock control activities Identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiency Manage all aspects of reporting, including P&L and business KPIs To meet these objectives, you will drive high-performing leadership, monitor financial performance, and lead initiatives that improve cost, productivity and revenue. About you You will be a commercially minded operational leader, ideally with a background in manufacturing, trades, distribution, or steel. You will bring strong team leadership experience and have managed teams across multiple departments. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Full P&L responsibility and financial reporting experience A background in overseeing multi-disciplinary teams A proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing leaders An understanding of compliance, OH&S and operational control Experience in cost control, stock management, and procurement A valid driver’s licence and willingness to undergo a medical check and police clearance What’s on offer This is a long-term opportunity to shape the NSW business while working closely with an experienced General Manager.
