Cranfield Group has partnered with a Fabrication company based on the Sunshine Coast. With multiple new contracts and projects on the horizon, our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminum Welder to join their team. This is a full time opportunity with an immediate start. The successful candidate will primarily work in the factory fabricating products however the opportunity to be onsite installing is also an option during busy periods. Responsibilities: Perform TIG/MIG welding on aluminum/sheet metal Fabricate and assemble fencing panels, balustrades, gates and screens according to specifications and blueprints Maintain a clean and safe work environment Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools Work effectively in a team environment Prior laser work experience desirable Requirements: Welding/Fabricating Trade Qualification Proven prior experience Ability to perform and pass a welding test and D&A test. Proficiency in welding and fabricating aluminum and sheet metal Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines for welding Must have the ability to work independently and have the right attitude to get the job done.
