The aim of the program is to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills for advanced clinical practice within Perioperative Nursing. Utilising state of the art facilities and highly skilled educators within our modern, Theatre department, our Perioperative Nurses will build on their skills to deliver perioperative care as part of a multidisciplinary team using the latest techniques in surgical intervention. The course prepares Nurses to apply perioperative principles to patients with complex, chronic and acute medical conditions requiring surgical interventions. Cabrini Theatre is a vibrant environment with 19 operating theatres including a hybrid lab, and endoscopy suites spread across two floors in a spacious and modern facility. Our Surgical Specialities include, but are not limited to: Plastics, Paediatrics, ENT, Neuro, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, General, Vascular and Cardiac.
