Job Title: Senior Technical Writer Location: Brisbane, Australia Employment Type: Full Time The job Join the team behind one of the world's leading construction take-off and estimating products, RIB CostX. As a senior technical writer, you will create both internal and external facing documentation for CostX and associated products, including technical guides, release notes and help manuals, while providing your expertise towards our Content Management and Document Management Systems. Key responsibilities Product documentation - Research and understand the individual products, and create high quality documentation related to technical usage, help guides and release notes. Assist RIB Consultancy team with creation & update of product training exercises. Work with RIB marketing teams to ensure consistent branding across documentation globally. Manage and maintain Document & Content Management Systems, ensuring accurate document versioning, scalability, content reusability & delivery methods. Essential requirements Excellent spoken & written communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using & managing CMS & DMS, Help & Manual experience highly regarded. Exceptional eye for detail & proof reading. Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in technical communications or related discipline. Ability to work to deadlines, both in autonomous & team-based environments. Desired skills and competencies Prior understanding of Construction Technology products useful. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Experience working towards deadlines for multiple products on different release cycles. A desire to continually improve processes, and innovate to create efficiency in the role.
