MGM Bulk is looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager - in WA, to join the MGM team. This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development Professional to apply their experience to the design and implementation of a Learning & Development Strategy and systems across the entire MGM Bulk organization with the aim of improving Learning & Development management, increasing skills development, talent attraction and retention and ultimately improving MGM Bulk performance. Located in our Bunbury office with regular travel across our WA sites you will report to the General Manager - HSEC and work alongside a close knit and motivated HSECQ and training team. What we are looking for - Tertiary qualified professional with proven expertise in designing and delivering tailored, effective Learning & Development programs and software. 10 years’ experience and technical knowledge of the resource sector Strong communication skills with demonstrated success in influencing multiple stakeholders and change management. A dedicated and proven leader, coach and mentor. Demonstrated experience facilitating internal Learning & Development pathways and developing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assist with VOCs. Essential Requirements - Recognised knowledge of the WHS Act & Regs. Tertiary Qualification in education, business administration or safety. and post-graduate studies in organisational development & learning. Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Vocation Educational and Training. The main responsibilities will include - Oversee the MGM Bulk Operations Driver Onboarding, Training, Assessment and Verification of Competency program with a view to streamlining and digitalizing the process to reduce administration costs while increasing trainers’ availability and throughout and maintaining quality outcomes. Research, identify and implement a fit for purpose electronic Learning Management System (LMS) that is aligned with MGM Bulk’s Learning & Development strategy, capable of expanding with the growth of the company and able to be integrated with existing IT Infrastructure. Design, develop and review all Learning and Development material including training packages, inductions, instructional materials, and critical documents across the organisation with a focus on meeting legislative requirements. Ensure competency requirements are established for each role within the organisation and reflected in MGM Bulk Position Descriptions. Develop and facilitate learning & development pathways for MGM Bulk employees with a view to increasing our return on investment by retaining our experienced employees. Ensure periodic reviews of Learning and Development materials as per the requirements of the MGM Bulk Document Control System. Consult with subject matter experts to complete reviews of content where necessary. Audit the delivery of learning and development materials and courses, at all locations to ensure the material is consistently communicated and appropriately assessed. Leading and developing the Learning and Development Team to support systems and processes. Managing the Apprentice, Dual Trade and Trade Upgrade programs and employees.
