You’ll be working with a range of high-profile clients on complex cloud transformation projects, focusing on Microsoft Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on cloud experience, excellent client-facing skills, and a desire to take ownership of end-to-end solution design and delivery. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading Azure-based cloud infrastructure solutions that align with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). You’ll engage directly with clients, lead engineering teams, and drive successful delivery of migration and transformation projects. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure Azure infrastructure solutions, including CAF-aligned Landing Zones Lead technical teams and mentor junior cloud engineers Conduct client workshops and translate business requirements into technical solutions Deliver end-to-end cloud migration projects using tools such as Azure Migrate Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy infrastructure using IaC tools like Azure DevOps, Bicep, and Terraform Manage projects in Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning and delivery Provide architecture support for hybrid and multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and compliance About You Proven hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure architecture and implementation Deep knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Landing Zone design Experience leading cloud engineering teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels Skilled in CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and best practices Excellent communication and technical documentation skills Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments Desirable Exposure to AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert Previous experience with government or secure environments Requirements Australian Citizenship is mandatory (due to client requirements) Must hold or be eligible to obtain an AGSVA Baseline or NV1 security clearance Must be Canberra-based or willing to relocate What’s on Offer Long-term career development opportunities with enterprise-grade clients Flexible work arrangements (hybrid) Collaborative and supportive team culture Access to training, certifications, and professional development Involvement in cutting-edge cloud transformation programs
