Packaging Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician Full Time, permanent position Shift - Day shift, Monday - Friday Mon-Thurs 7AM-3:30PM, Fri 1PM finish Hourly rate- Circa $55-60ph OT rate- time and half for first 2 hours, then double time Mix of mechanical and electrical work, mobile and workshop based Working away 12-15 weeks annually approximately Install and maintain machinery across Australia - on client sites My Client, a packaging Manufacturer are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team. The role The role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from general maintenance through to preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving. Responsibilities: Assist in the day to day efficient running of Plant Equipment. Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance. Diagnostics and fault finding. Process improvement of plant and equipment. Operate & Service Machinery. Provide technical support to the production team. Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines. Experience: Trade Qualified A-Grade Electrician with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments. Experience using CMMS systems. Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude. Excellent communication skills. Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team. Forklift licence is an advantage.
