About the Client Our client is a well-established and reputable plant hire company, supplying equipment and support across major Civil, Rail, and Construction projects. With partnerships across Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders, they’re growing fast – and they’re looking for skilled Diesel Plant Mechanics to grow with them. About the Role You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of heavy vehicles and plant machinery, both in the workshop and out in the field. Key duties include Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults Servicing and maintaining plant equipment Attending breakdowns across Civil, Construction, and Rail sites Working on-site across Sydney Metro and regional NSW Participating in a rostered on-call rotation (nights/weekends) About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III or higher – Diesel / Plant / Automotive) Strong hydraulic and mechanical diagnostic skills Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics Experience operating plant equipment (desirable) Electrical experience (advantageous but not essential) Excellent communication skills and professional presentation Ability to safely work around heavy machinery What’s on Offer Great pay super overtime allowances Fully maintained company vehicle (ute) Ongoing paid training (tickets & licenses – e.g., RIW, HRW) Career progression with a supportive and growing team Exposure to Tier 1 & 2 construction projects Ready to join a team where your skills are valued and your career is supported?
