This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks when repairing and maintaining the body of cars, heavy vehicles and other vehicles in the automotive service and repair sector. What would this involve? You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your apprenticeship & hosted to our valued client. Full time hours over a 48-month time frame. Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year. Theory training conducted by TasTAFE. You would receive mentoring and support from a dedicated Work & Training Apprentice & Employment Consultant. You would develop the skills required to obtain a Certificate III Automotive Body Repair Technology trade through on-the-job and off-site training over the duration of the apprenticeship. Gain valuable experience on the job: The qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to repair vehicle chassis, frames and associated components including vehicle body misalignment. Develop your capacity to follow procedures, instructions and safe work practices, and communicate in a professional manner within the workplace. Essential Criteria: Current Tasmanian drivers licence. Knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements and ability to follow procedure. Successful candidate will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
