Description Role Overview We are seeking a passionate, savvy, and talented Senior Associate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and a passion for sustainable landscape architecture, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of Landscape Architects. You will work on and manage a variety of projects, from residential gardens to large-scale public and open spaces, and collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to bring our visions to life. Key Responsibilities: Manage a variety of projects of various scales, including task management, scope, variations, resourcing, budgeting and scheduling. Design excellence – undertake and manage design and design development of projects. Undertake and manage general landscape architectural duties for projects including site inspections, cost planning, product sourcing, documentation, detailing and specification writing. Ensure consistent quality of deliverables are produced across the studio. Commercial and BD - source new work and write submissions (for Studio Lead authorisation). Provide invoice information accurately and in a timely fashion. Communicate professionally with colleagues and clients to drive outcomes. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients – new & existing. Project a positive image and advocate for Arcadia through all areas of work. Lead, develop and mentor a team of landscape architects. Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and detailed drawings. Skills And Experiences Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or accepted equivalent skill set, eg. Architecture with relevant horticulture training. 10 years professional experience in landscape architecture or relevant environment. Experience in team and project management, including responsibility for managing projects successfully from concept to delivery. Well-developed technical skills in regard to design and construction techniques and programs. Revit skills and experience would be seen as a distinct advantage. Proven ability to lead, mentor and grow team members. Ability to delegate tasks effectively to team members to achieve deadlines. Strong time management skills to ensure jobs and projects run to schedule and in alignment with scope. Good communication and presentation skills (both written and oral).
