The Software Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing software systems that translate business needs into reliable and scalable technical solutions. This role is hands-on, active involvement in building robust software infrastructure and establishing patterns for reliable software, with a commitment to comprehensive documentation and collaborative practices. As an architectural leader, you will drive innovation and mentor teams, ensuring high quality solutions through a collaborative approach while ensuring alignment to architectural standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design, plan, and implement innovative and cutting-edge solutions with a focus on enhancing scalability, reliability, and system performance • Establish and support architectural patterns and best practices for robust software solutions and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement through a collaborative approach • Actively participate in the coding and development of software infrastructure, maintaining high standards of quality • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and translate them into aligned architectural goals • Document architectural designs, technical decisions, and solution patterns comprehensively • Engage in architectural refactoring, applying domain-driven design principles • Conduct architectural assessments and reviews to ensure solutions meet business objectives and maintain high quality, and lead discussions on architectural alignment with organisational goals and technology strategies Key Qualifications: • Extensive expertise in .NET technologies with a strong design and hands-on implementation emphasis. • Proven experience in developing scalable, event-driven architectures and microservices. • Strong understanding of domain-driven design principles and best practices. • Experience in building and maintaining robust and reliable software infrastructure. • Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation for architectural decisions and processes. • Demonstrated ability to establish collaboratively and enforce high coding standards and best practices.
