This role involves delivering and implementing the Maternal and Early Childhood Sustained Home Visiting program (MECSH) and supporting families within the communities served by the organisation. ASAP Start Key Responsibilities Supporting mothers and families from pregnancy - 3 years of age Establishing supportive relationships within families and the community, including promoting maternal-infant bonding Providing primary health care, health education, and facilitating health checks including vaccinations Promoting positive parent-infant interactions and delivering a structured child development and parent education program Supporting families to improve problem-solving skills and access community resources Practicing trauma-informed care and maintaining cultural safety and awareness Selection Criteria Current AHPRA registration, with no restrictions Excellent communication skills Unrestricted driver’s license (and ideally able to drive manual) First Aid Certification National Crime Check Up to date immunisation status Full working rights in Australia Current OCHRE clearance or willingness to obtain Experience working in an Aboriginal health context (not essential) How to Apply : Please click 'Apply Now'.
