Job Description The Director of Sales and Marketing is a key member of the hotel’s Executive team and leads the hotel’s strategy on both marketing and selling this renowned luxury Brisbane property. This role is suited to a highly experienced individual with exceptional leadership skills, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of the luxury hotel market. Key responsibilities include: Develop sales strategies, manage key accounts, and build long-term client relationships to achieve revenue targets and business objectives Identify new business opportunities, maintain a prospect pipeline, and conduct presentations and negotiations to close deals Lead, coach, and support the sales team, ensuring they meet individual and team targets while assisting in recruitment, training, and performance enhancement Work closely with Marketing, Events, Operations and Revenue Management teams to align sales efforts and pricing strategies with overall business goals Prepare sales reports, track KPIs, adjust strategies, and provide insights to the Executive team and General Manager to ensure revenue targets are met Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the property and generate leads Organise and participate in sales trips, client meetings, and promotional activities to enhance the hotel’s visibility and attract new business.
