Our client, a respected and growing organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join its payroll team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls. Preparing and managing upcoming pay runs. Maintaining employee records and handling payroll data accurately, Processing onboarding, pay adjustments, and terminations. Responding to and resolving payroll-related queries. Supporting the development and optimisation of payroll systems and processes. Interpreting relevant awards, agreements, and employment legislation. Assisting with month-end activities and ad hoc reporting. Performing other payroll-related duties as directed. About You: Demonstrated payroll experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with Employment Hero or Roubler is highly regarded Self-motivated, professional, and discreet A strong team player with a customer-first mindset How to Apply: Sharp & Carter often have a range of positions available that may not yet be advertised.
