Hevilift Corporate Pty Ltd Hevilift is a leading aviation Fixed Wing(FW) and Rotary Wing (RW) charter service company operating throughout Southeast Asia & the Pacific. The Director, Safety and Compliance position will be located in Brisbane Australia. The position is responsible for the development, implementation and compliance to the Group’s Safety and Quality Systems via support, guidance and direction to the Group Companies. To ensure each Group Company has the systems and processes in place to comply with Regulatory, Contractual and Group requirements. The role: · Reporting to Group Managing Director and member of Executive Team. · Maintain and implement Safety Management System, Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Drug and Alcohol Management Plan and Documentation control requirements within the Group of companies. · Develop and manage Annual Group Quality and Safety plans and provide direction to Group Companies . · Promoting safety culture through-out the operational units. · Management, integration and administration of the on-line reporting system (i.e. Air Maestro) for the reporting, tracking and follow-up of all incidents · Continuous review of all safety and quality procedures to ensure the aims are being achieved and policies and procedures are being adhered to · Support to Group Companies in the development and compliance to training requirements. · Provide training deliverables where able, provide oversight of other external suppliers. · Convene Group safety and quality reviews with internal and external stakeholders. · Support to Group Companies to ensure that respective Safety Programs are implemented and maintained as per the requirements of the relevant CARs and the applicable Expositions, with particular emphasis on the SMS Manuals. · Direction and management of all investigations · Monitor safety and quality trends and make appropriate recommendations. · Advisor for Group Directors and Country Manager in all matter related to Quality and Safety. · Assist Country Managers with respect to Safety and Quality responses to Tenders and Pre-Qualification submissions. · Manage the Company Flight Data Monitoring program, Safety Analysis and Line Oriented Safety Assurance program (iLOSA) · Oversees Quality Documentation in line with Hevilift Group Quality Management Standards & Policy and Hevilift Document Control Manual. · Oversees group technical training and optimising training cost. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Safety/ Compliance Management · Applicable Tertiary qualifications. · High level of written and oral communication skills. · Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general report writing skills. · Understanding of and ability to interpret civil aviation safety orders and regulations. · Knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules would be an advantage. · Current Passport and be willing to travel overseas at short notice.
