Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a highly experienced Lead .NET Developer to join a large-scale education program within the Queensland Government. This role sits within the School Management Systems directorate of a major digital transformation branch, supporting end-to-end development across critical initiatives including Digital Workflow for User Access, Consent Management, and a School Performance Dashboard. Rate: Circa $105.00 per hour _ Super Location: Brisbane CBD Length: 2 year contract Key Responsibilities: Lead development teams through the software lifecycle using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Oversee design, development, and maintenance of .NET-based applications and enterprise systems. Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and technical teams to align solutions with strategic objectives. Ensure delivery of scalable and secure applications through structured SDLC and change management processes. Provide technical leadership and mentoring while managing project priorities and team output. Prerequisites: 10 years' experience in Microsoft ASP.NET development within complex enterprise environments. Minimum 5 years in a leadership or technical lead role. Proficient in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, TypeScript, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure. Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Reporting Services. Strong knowledge of formal SDLC, Agile, ITIL, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Desirable: Experience with enterprise integration, API delivery, and systems migration. Exposure to the education or public sector environments.
