We are seeking skilled Structural steel welders proficient with Structural steel engineering skills and knowledge to work on various structural steel products at a large facility in Cranbourne West! Day and afternoon shift rates and positions on offer. This company specialize in structural steel projects for large infrastructure jobs all around Australia. About the job: - Mixed role including structural steel engineering with the use of 3D software such as (CAD, AutoCAD, Tekla) as well as production work using MIG and TIG welding techniques. - Welding various common and exotic surfaces, mainly stainless and mild steels. - Co-Ordinating with management. - Read and interpret drawings and plans. - Working with drafters, boilermakers, loaders and machine operators. - Calculate and produce plans and drawings using 3D software. - Client / customer communications. - Temp to perm role! About you: - Punctual and reliable. - Available Monday to Friday. - Proficient in engineering skills using 3D software (CAD, AutoCAD, Tekla). - Experience in structural steel engineering preferred. - Experienced using MIG and TIG Welding techniques. - Able to work in a solo and team environment. - Computer skills considered. - OHS Aware.
