Join the Harness Energy Services Team – Electrical-Instrumentation Technicians in Queensland Harness Energy is seeking experienced Nitrogen Operators to support an upcoming turnaround project. This role involves operating nitrogen pumping units for purging, blanketing, and leak testing within upstream production operations. Key Responsibilities Operate nitrogen pumping units for controlled nitrogen purging, blanketing, and leak testing . Monitor and control flow rates, pressures, and temperatures per project specifications. Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on nitrogen pumps and associated equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues . Conduct nitrogen leak testing to ensure system integrity before startup. Carry out nitrogen purging to remove oxygen, moisture, or hydrocarbons from pipelines and process systems. Assist with system isolations and flange management (hydraulic torquing & tensioning). What We’re Looking For Open Australian Driver’s License (Required) Nitrogen-related skills and certifications (Essential) QGC Gas Test Atmospheres & QGC Permit Holder Training (Preferred) Ability to lead a small team and delegate tasks Physically fit & mobile to meet the role’s demands Strong safety culture and leadership skills Why Join Us?
