Design and deliver creative, consistent, seasonal menus aligned with the venue's brand and standards. Maintain accurate data and systems through effective use of kitchen management software. Manage stock, cost of goods sold (COGS), labour, and supplier relationships to meet financial targets. Ensure compliance with hygiene, OH&S, and council regulations across all back-of-house operations. Induct, train, and develop kitchen staff by setting clear expectations and coaching for growth. Collaborate on venue strategy, marketing content, and planning for special events. Drive high standards through structured systems, feedback, and proactive leadership. Create and deliver high-quality food for functions and events. About You : Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen. Strong leadership skills with a calm, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach. Deep food knowledge and a passion for delivering elevated pub-style cuisine. Commercial acumen including confidence in managing COGS, gross profit targets, staffing budgets, and reporting. Experience using software systems for inventory, financial reporting, rostering, and recipe costing. An inclusive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to inspire and retain top talent.
