The positions available are: Closed-term part-time (67 hours / fortnight) until 20 July 2026 (Parental Leave Relief) Casual Working a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and nights Attractive hourly rates equivalent to $37.35-$40.05 /hour Super Additional Benefits! About the Women & Children's Program Flourish Australia's Women and Children's Program provides supported accommodation and outreach support to mothers parenting with a mental health issue that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. In this role you will be required to provide support to families through skill development, community access, community participation, positive parenting strategies and you will enhance opportunities for independent living and optimise family life. The care and support you will provide will be recovery focused, strengths based and trauma informed and will be tailored to meet the varied and individual needs of each family. About the Opportunities As a Peer Worker with Flourish Australia, your own life experience of a mental health issue and personal recovery will provide a distinct advantage as you mentor and support people with lived experience of a mental health issue. You will be required to use this lived experience openly, appropriately and effectively to build professional relationships with the people you support that also have a lived experience of a mental health issue.
