We're looking for a Senior Store Manager to lead our Dural location, drive business success, and ensure our high standards of service and operational efficiency are maintained. About the Role As Senior Store Manager at our Dural location, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a large store, ensuring all operational, organizational, and safety standards are maintained. You'll drive sales, manage teams, and ensure customer satisfaction is consistently delivered. This is a hands-on, leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in retail or trade management. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dural store, ensuring smooth workflow and operational standards. Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Hire, train, and manage staff, in collaboration with the People & Culture team. Monitor and manage staffing levels to ensure service standards are met. Create and implement business plans to attract new business and drive profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Resolve customer queries and complaints, providing excellent service and addressing concerns professionally. Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure the store is adequately stocked. Prepare and manage reports on sales, inventory, and business performance. Drive the creation of promotional materials and in-store displays to support sales and customer engagement. Work closely with the external sales team to identify local opportunities, provide quotes, and ensure seamless service. Monitor competitor pricing and maintain optimal profit margins. Lead stocktakes, manage store budgets, and oversee financial records. Facilitate smooth communication between departments and external teams to ensure effective collaboration. Key Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role within a retail or trade environment. Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team motivation and performance. Strong customer service skills with a clear understanding of business management processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm, professional demeanor. A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving business objectives. Familiarity with MS Office Suite; experience with inventory and business management systems is highly desirable. High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. Performance Targets (KPIs) Achieve or exceed store sales targets.
