ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking a practical and driven Project Manager with a builder or shopfitting background, ideally someone who has recently stepped off the tools and is ready to take full ownership of multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of project management experience and a solid understanding of retail shop fit outs. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple, high-volume, fast-paced retail projects (typically valued between $500K–$3M), working closely with a national team of Construction Managers, Administrators, and Tradespeople. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES End-to-end management of multiple retail fit out projects Prepare accurate material take-offs and coordinate deliveries with internal teams and external suppliers Raise purchase orders and manage budgets Monitor, track, and report on project costs Interpret design documentation and liaise with site teams for successful execution Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Deliver weekly project updates to senior management IDEAL CANDIDATE Trade background in construction or shopfitting (essential) Solid experience in retail shop fit outs Minimum 12 months of project management experience Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle several fast-turnaround projects (4–8-week durations) High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Comfortable with regular onsite travel DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Formal qualifications in Construction or Project Management 5–8 years’ experience in construction roles (shopfitting or hospitality fit-out experience preferred) Proficiency in contract management and tendering processes Strong knowledge of Australian Building Regulatory Standards Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proficient in project documentation and cost control WHAT’S ON OFFER Supportive and dynamic team culture Career development and internal promotion opportunities Company laptop and mobile phone provided Work/life balance and flexibility Employee assistance program (EAP) Corporate perks and regular team events Interested or have questions?
