Work across the entire stack and assist in transitioning applications to a cloud-native, containerized, microservices architecture. Write database queries in Oracle/SQL and PL/SQL, and collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment. Take initiative to improve solution quality, codebases, technical debt, standards, and processes. Own quality through testing, automation, and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance. Maintain and improve documentation across codebases, architectures, and knowledge bases. Participate in the global engineering community to enhance practices across the company. Ideal candidate profile: At least 7 years of professional software development experience. Experience as a Software Engineer working on frontend and backend systems. Proven leadership in code quality, system architecture, and technical standards. Passion for supporting others to improve and increase productivity. Advanced knowledge of Java and Spring Framework. Advanced knowledge of Jakarta Persistence API with Hibernate. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. Knowledge of telemetry analysis and observability tools like Splunk, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch. Experience with AWS cloud and DevOps practices. Experience maintaining compliance across systems.
