Employing extensive experience, skills and knowledge in the remote practice setting the successful applicant will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team servicing remote clinics. The successful applicant will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Aboriginal specific and culturally appropriate services are provided. Experience driving a manual vehicle and eligibility to obtain an NT driverâs licence along with a willingness to travel to remote communities on a regular basis by either 4WD or light plane is inherent to the role. The successful applicant will be required to participate in a 24/7 emergency on call roster and must be current with or willing to attain vaccination, remote emergency management, and midwifery emergency management certification. nnN3 - Applies advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, attributes and abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as with families, groups and communities. nN4 - Supports and provides collaborative, appropriate, proficient, coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with and alongside less experienced nursing and midwifery staff, within the specialty area.nSelection will be made at the N3 or N4 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
