We believe our people make the difference. About the role Eastern Health is currently looking for passionate and experienced Social Workers to join our Allied Health teams. Our sites and departments are located across the eastern region of Melbourne. Variable work days Mon-Sun. This role provides service to a variety of bed-based wards across Eastern Health, rotating to backfill leave. The role is supported by other Social Work leaders, as well as a dynamic Allied Health Department. This role will allow you to work across a variety of inpatient settings, with opportunities for professional development. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: • Eligibility for membership of the AASW • Highly developed interpersonal skills • A strong commitment to high quality care • The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and also work autonomously as required • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Excellent risk assessment skills • The ability to lead complex discharge planning • Conflict resolution skills Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
