This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the smooth operation, safety, and ongoing maintenance of all hotel facilities and infrastructure. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and team leadership. Manage MEH (Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic) services and implement preventive and corrective maintenance. Prepare annual budgets, capital expenditure submissions, and monthly cost reports. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards. Support sustainability programs including EarthCheck and CONNECT (Corporate Social Responsibility). Provide timely engineering support to all departments, prioritizing guest comfort and safety. Deliver basic technical training and manage emergency response protocols. Maintain accurate records, including utility usage and team timesheets. Attend hotel meetings, seminars, and contribute to cross-functional committees. Skills & Experience Your skills and experience will include: Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment. Strong operational knowledge of building services and maintenance practices. Familiarity with sustainability practices and hotel compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail, with a flexible and reliable approach to work.
