As part of our Child and Family Health Public and School Immunisation Services, you will play a critical role in advocating for the National Immunisation Program and promoting vaccination uptake. Your efforts will contribute directly to reducing the mortality and morbidity rates related to vaccine-preventable diseases across our region. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description Key Responsibilities Administer immunisations to pregnant women, infants, children aged 0-5 years, and high school students at public and school clinics.Advocate for the National Immunisation Program, promoting the importance of vaccination to improve public health outcomes.Follow best practice standards and clinical guidelines as per the Australian Immunisation Handbook.Ensure that services meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the NSW Ministry of Health and Local Health District Service Agreement.Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives to increase vaccination rates.Contribute to the achievement of the CCLHD vision, goals, and strategies, upholding the values and behaviours set forth by NSW Health CORE values and the CCLHD Values and Behaviours Charter. About You Current Registered Nurse/Midwife Division 1 National Registration (AHPRA) and NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser.Statement of proficiency in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.Sound knowledge of the National Immunisation Program (NIP).Evidence of annual review of best practice policy for immunisation.
