The Natural Hazards Planning team are seeking a level 6 program support officer to support the delivery of the statutory process for the Natural Hazards and Biodiversity Planning and Conservation team’s program for the planning scheme, including amendments to City Plan. About Your New Role This is a new and exciting position, reporting to the Environment and Resilience Program Lead. This role is tasked with activities critical to supporting the coordination of the teams’ work programs to meet statutory requirements, including statutory consultation and engagement activities. The position willsupport the preparation of technical and non-technical communication and engagement activities and assist in project delivery as required. For further information on roles and responsibilities please refer to the position brief attached. About You You are skilled and qualified in communications, business and/or project management. Experience delivering stakeholder and community engagement activities to support statutory and non-statutory programs. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a multi skilled team environment. Experience in forming positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You are motivated and driven to deliver positive outcomes for the City which is demonstrated through your organised approach to work. The ability to operate Councils bespoke software systems.
