About the role: Reporting to the Director, Division Medicine, Cardiac & Critical Care Services, this role is responsible for on going quality improvement and research activities and will help assist in ethics / governance submissions, patient recruitment, data collection and analysis under supervision of a number of trained Consultants. Duties will include: Providing care and assuming responsibility for patients in the Critical Care Unit, under supervision of the Consultant, Taking part in on going quality improvement and research activities and assist in ethics / governance submissions, patient recruitment, data collection and analysis. Please note: As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-month allocation as Research Registrar will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities. About you: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner, Previous research experience (single / multiple centre studies/ pre-clinical studies), Experience to include clinical work in the specialty, teaching and research Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
