AESTEC Services are currently seeking an experienced Planning & Project Control Engineer to join the AESTEC team in Gladstone. This role is based in Gladstone; however, DIDO/FIFO may be considered for the right applicant. THE ROLE The Planning & Project Control Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining all aspects of project planning and scheduling across multiple civil and structural projects. This role works closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery, with a strong focus on performance tracking, cost control and schedule optimisation. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking people who possess: • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Planning & Project Control Engineer in Infrastructure, Construction or Mining/Resource projects • Proven background in hard dollar contracting, structural concrete and civil works • Strong systems focus and advanced experience using Primavera (P6) • Ability to analyse and manage project performance using cost and schedule metrics such as CPI and SPI • Experience in Earned Value Management systems • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Ideally based locally in Gladstone; however DIDO/FIFO options may be considered It would be great if you also have: • Experience using Power BI to create interactive dashboards • A collaborative approach to working across departments including Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Finance • Ability to develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project control data WHAT WE OFFER • Permanent, full-time ongoing work • Weekly pay • Immediate start available • Work with a highly experienced and supportive team • Opportunities for career growth within a respected local company TO APPLY All applicants must apply online via Seek; You will be required to submit: • A current resume • Colour copies of all relevant licences and qualifications
