About Lizard Centre: For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Behavioural Therapy Assistant to support a family in Brookfield . This role involves working 2 shifts per week , with flexibility to choose from the following days and time slots: Monday to Friday 12:00pm – 3:00pm OR 2:00pm – 5:00pm Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation Skills & Experience Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred) Experience working with children is highly desirable Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential Requirements: Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module – 'Quality, Safety and You' Australian Driver’s License & Vehicle Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift How to Apply: Shortlisted applicants will be scheduled for a 5 minute phone call with our People & Culture Assistant Olivia Sorokin.
