Full Time Continuing role for an organised Education Design Support Officer Utilise your great tech skills to create quality website and learning resources Base Salary $99,455 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health, Education Innovation & Design team are seeking a talented Education Desig n Support Officer to join the team. The Education Design Support Officer will work within a strong, supportive team to support education innovation in the faculty. The Education Design Support Officer will partner with the Education Designers and academic and teaching staff in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, to provide learning design solutions and that will bring to li f e course content and ensure excellent student learning experiences . Your key responsibilities will be to: provide strong technical knowledge, learning design and operational support to teaching staff across the faculty work in close collaboration with Education Designers , academic staff, and inter-faculty teams to develop innovative online educational and assessment resources create, develop, test, and implement educational resources for use by staff and students teaching and learning in remote, hybrid and blended education settings providing practical solutions for common challenges in learning web sites and in a range of education technology pla tforms (Canvas, ECHO360, Zoom, SRES) to ensure excellent student learning experiences develop innovative online rich-media resources in close collaboration with academic and teaching staff About you To be successful in this role, you will be able to : demonstrate strong skills in technical troubleshooting, and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement demonstrate your LMS (learning management system) design skills , and f amiliarity with basic HTML and CSS showcase your skills in developing rich media and video-based learning content with the capacity to learn software (H5P, A rticulate, Adobe Creative Suite) demonstrate effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) use your excellent time and workload management skills and demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines possess working knowledge of university policies and procedures and administrative processes within a tertiary environment Work Rights you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
