About The Role As a Plumber/Drainer , you’ll be at the heart of delivering essential water and wastewater services to the Bundaberg community. From ensuring clean drinking water to maintaining critical infrastructure, every task you undertake will directly impact the health and wellbeing of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Operating, maintaining, and constructing Water Services infrastructure, including treatment facilities, sewerage collection, water distribution systems, and other Council facilities. Operate and maintain equipment, plant, and machinery as required. Acquire and follow all safe, environmental, and water quality work practices, policies, procedures, instructions, and guidelines. About You A Queensland Plumbers Licence or equivalent (or the ability to obtain). A Class MR driver’s licence (or ability to obtain). Construction Induction (White/Blue Card). A willingness to complete tickets like confined space, working at heights, and traffic management implementation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
