Urapuntja Health Service is a community controlled health organisation located approximately 270km north east of Alice Springs on the Sandover Highway. The clinic is quite unique in that it is not embedded in an Aboriginal township, rather it has been purpose built on Aboriginal land, and the staff housing has been built around it, so it forms its own little community.
