Headspace are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families. Provide key leadership and support to the headspace Katherine Primary Team Deliver effective, developmentally appropriate and evidence-based interventions to young people and their families. Provide direct clinical care to young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues Support the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker to ensure care provided to Aboriginal young people is delivered in a culturally safe way Responsible for providing clinical leadership and ensuring that day-to-day clinical operations are carried out in an effective way. Is this the right role for you? Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 5 year experience Registered with relevant regulatory body as a practicing Clinical Lead Demonstrated effective leadership skills with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team Experience providing a range of early intervention services to young people within a mental health setting including provision of group programs. Demonstrated commitment to work respectfully and inclusively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse people. NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
