The Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Blending Operator . This hands-on role requires a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and food safety. You will be responsible for producing custom spice and ingredient blends according to predetermined recipes, while maintaining strict compliance with hygiene standards and documentation procedures. Responsibilities & duties Day to day production of custom spice and ingredient blends Production Scheduling with regard to customer orders, stock levels, sequential batches, allergens and scheduled cleaning. Manage physical raw material stock including stock control, inventory and rotation Accurately weighing out and batching blend assemblies Packing, sealing, labelling and boxing products Perform accurate data entry for raw material used and finished goods produced. Liaise with Warehouse Manager on suitable location for finished goods produced. Liaise with Operations Manager on production scheduling Use of blending room equipment including cleaning Attributes Experience in a food production environment and following Food Safety Procedures at all times Physically fit – stacking of full cartons and handling of bulk materials is required. Fluent with PC Software applications A neat, tidy and accurate approach to work is an essential requirement for this role. Hours of Work This is a full-time permanent position , based on a standard 38-hour work week . The ideal start time is 7:30 AM , though there is some flexibility depending on the candidate.
