This is a hybrid role, where 2 days from home and 3 days in an office in Sydney – we have offices in Surry Hills, just beside the Central train station or Warriewood in the northern beaches – with carparking or public transport options available. Purpose of role: With the launch of our latest strategic plan, we have chosen to add an additional team member to our group capability team. The Capability Specialist is responsible for scoping, planning, designing, delivering and evaluating capability development initiatives that measurably improve the capabilities of employees that are required to deliver on Blackmores operational and strategic objectives. Responsibilities include: Needs assessment and solution development: For assigned initiatives, review business plans, business performance and any other relevant sources to scope potential solutions Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to ensure scoping includes consideration of local needs and conditions Work with the Learning & Capability delivery specialist to design & develop recommended solutions that ensure alignment on frameworks and standards for Capability Building Programs across the organization and drive a measurable change in capability. Project Management and planning: Develop and manage robust project plans (including internal and external stakeholder management, change management, and communication plans) to deliver programs on time and to budget Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships to ensure role clarity, delivery of inputs to plan, and appropriate review and sign-off for any deliverables. Review and adjust plans as required to meet commercial cycles and business needs Contribute to developing and maintaining the capability calendar, with consideration of commercial rhythms, business plan/strategy delivery plans, and mandatory training calendar. Program delivery and operations: Maintain accurate records of attendance and outcomes for all capability programs Facilitate learning and development interventions such as live, virtual and hybrid workshops, online learning and other digital solutions Measurement and evaluation Work with stakeholders to identify program metrics and cadences aligned to supporting the delivery of business results, to ensure program impacts and return on investment can be evaluated. Continuously monitor program progress and evaluate outcomes against predefined metrics to ensure objectives are being met. Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of capability initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to refine and enhance capability programs over time. Who are you? Proven experience in capability development, organizational development, or a similar role. Experience in project management, including planning, resource allocation, stakeholder management and budget management. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing training programs and initiatives. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and managing stakeholder relationship Extensive knowledge of external trends in learning and development It would be great if you could speak an additional language where we have an office based.
