The Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) will lead the BFS RPAS program within the Aviation Services Unit for Bushfire and Forest Services (BFS). The CRP will deliver with strong leadership, in a complex and conflicting environment with a strategic organisational and collaboration capability across DEECA. The Chief Remote Pilot exercises the regulatory responsibilities of the ReOC Chief Remote Pilot pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act and state legislation. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications An appropriate qualification in aviation (Chief Remote Pilot) or approved equivalent Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Legislation, including flight authorisations and registrations Demonstrated experience in complex project delivery * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, ECM SharePoint and MS Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro D.
