About the Office The International Office drives progress against strategic objectives to increase international student enrolment, partnerships and mobility. The Office collaborates with Faculties and Schools with a focus on expanding international onshore recruitment, student mobility and development of new and existing priority international partnerships that encompass agent networks, student mobility and staff exchange. About the role The Manager International Operations leads the administrative and operational management of the International Office. The position leads, coordinates and undertakes high priority projects and initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic priorities and objectives. This role provides expertise in a wide variety of administrative duties to support the strategic objectives of the International Office, and works collaboratively to implement strategies and ensure efficient operations as part of a dynamic and fast paced team. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-level support to the National Director International by providing strategic advice and contributing to operational, strategic, and financial and resource planning/management. Lead and manage projects including the preparation of project proposals, project briefs and project delivery reports and liaising with various stakeholders to maintain project integrity and timeliness, collecting, processing and quality checking of data and information and any other responsibilities as required by the project. Represent the University at events, exhibitions and recruitment fairs as well as at other industry and government events related to international education, both in Australia and overseas. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, in order to inform and support the work of the International Office. Work with key strategic members of the International Office to coordinate, guide and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the University's policies and programs regarding international students Lead, coach and mentor direct reports by undertaking performance and development reviews to enhance the performance of team members, promote and build a highly engaged, positive and effective workplace culture Qualifications, skills & experience Postgraduate qualifications or progress toward a postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant University experience; or management expertise and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Demonstrated experience in Higher Education, including extensive understanding of international education and policy framework Extensive management experience and expertise.
