You’ll play a critical role in achieving sales targets and maximising profitability across your portfolio. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager – Key Account Team, you’ll work alongside an experienced team and play a vital role in offering value-added solutions to meet our customers’ unique business needs. Manage and develop key customer accounts to initiate and maintain strong relationships which maximise profit. · Achieving high sales targets and responsible for building relationships with new key customers · Develop new business with existing key customers and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas and maximise profit. What's involved: Develop strategies to drive the overall performance and customer group Develop, implement and manage an annual financial budget that is aligned to company expectations Meeting sales targets and maximising margins as set by the State Sales Manager Responsible for developing profitable new account business and maintaining existing business Shared sales accountability up $18mil budget Customer base of 25-40 accounts (Metro). You’ll need: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills. Ability to interpret building plans is advantageous but not essential. Comfortable with cold calling, client meetings, and territory management. A collaborative team player with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation. Strong organisational, planning, and conflict resolution abilities. Understanding of P&L, strategic planning, and industry sector dynamics.
