About the role The GIS Data Analyst will be accountable for organizing their workflow, making decisions within defined parameters related to their area of responsibility, and seeking guidance when required. They will provide specialist support that is informed and directed by their knowledge of the discipline. They may undertake some research and analysis activities. The GIS Data Analyst will also be required to share information, set work priorities, and develop local procedures. Role Responsibilities Knowledge of best practices in data integration, transformation, optimisation, management, and dissemination using geospatial data and services Understanding of spatial data types Understanding of relational databases, database design, and data modelling Understanding and experience in data integration Understanding and experience in building spatial data models optimised for visualisation and analysis Understanding of statistical analysis, including geo-statistical analysis What is on offer The contract period is 12 months, with 2X12 extension options.
