The Role Peninsula View, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility located in Frankston South, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Roster Clerk. This role is offered at four days per week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the Roster Clerk provides essential administrative and rostering support within the facility. This position is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, particularly in maintaining staffing levels to meet required care minutes using the UKG rostering software. Additionally, the role serves as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers. We are looking for someone who brings a positive, efficient, and empathetic approach to their work—someone who can build respectful relationships with staff, residents, families, contractors, volunteers, and all visitors. Key Responsibilities Provide rostering support using UKG software to help maintain appropriate staffing levels in line with care minutes requirements. Deliver exceptional front desk service, including greeting visitors warmly, answering calls, taking and distributing messages, and accepting deliveries. Perform general administrative duties such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, and preparing meeting agendas and minutes. Manage petty cash and banking tasks accurately and responsibly. Foster meaningful relationships with residents’ families and collaborate with external agencies to enhance the quality of care. Participate in scheduled training to ensure your skills and knowledge remain current and aligned with best practices. Assisting with scheduling training requirements and maintaining data in education portal. Essential Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience in administration and roster management. Demonstrate a customer-centric approach with a genuine passion for working in Aged Care. Display exceptional attention to detail, integrity, reliability, and maintain a positive and adaptable attitude.
